Mr. Analjit Singh is the Founder & Non-Executive Chairman of Max India. He is the Chairman Emeritus of Antara Senior Living and other Max Group companies. An industry statesman, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s top civilian honours in 2011.He is also on the Board of Sofina NV/SA, Belgium and till Oct 18, was the Chairman of Vodafone India. He has significant interests in lifestyle related ventures in the Western Cape, South Africa, pertaining to viticulture, wine making and hospitality. Mr. Analjit Singh is a member of the Founder Executive Board of the Indian School of Business (ISB) and has served as Chairman of Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. He was awarded the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Service Category) in 2012 and the US India Business Council Leadership Award in 2013. In 2014, he was awarded with Spain’s second highest civilian honour, the Knight Commander of the Order of Queen Isabella. He is an alumnus of Doon School and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University, and holds an MBA from Boston University.
Tara Singh Vachani
As Executive Chairman of Antara Senior Living, Tara’s aim is to give a new dimension to senior living in India. She is also the Non – Executive Director on the Board of Max India Ltd. and oversees future business initiatives at Max Group.
Tara is also Chairperson of Max Learning Ventures and sits on the boards of Vana Estates Ltd. and the Leeu Collection. As a Managing Trustee of Max India Foundation, she oversees Max Group’s social responsibility efforts. Tara is a 2020 member of ‘Young Global Leaders’, a part of the reputed World Economic Forum. Tara takes personal and collective responsibility for a sustainable future. Through the guiding principles of Authenticity, Generosity, Impact and Respect, she helps role model a way for many others to follow. With an extensive education and experience across the world, and as a keen learner throughout her journey at Max Group, Tara has imbibed the values of Sevabhav, Excellence and Credibility. A natural leader, she represents the dynamic new cadre of young women entrepreneurs in India. A globetrotter, she’s deeply rooted in India by her love for family and country. As the MD & CEO Rajit spearheads the operations & future growth strategy for Antara Senior Living. Additionally, given his diverse professional experience he also heads Max India’s growth initiatives and is the advisor to Max Group’s Human Capital function.
Rajit is also a Non-Executive Director at Max Life Insurance and Max SkillFirst. Till recently, Rajit was the MD & CEO of Max Healthcare. During his 5 years’ stint, the company doubled its revenue and earnings (EBITDA). Earlier, Rajit was a founder member of Max Life Insurance where he played an instrumental role in the company becoming a highly admired and profitable insurer. Prior to Max Life, he was the Director – Personnel at Bank of America and has also worked with HCL. Rajit is a graduate in Commerce, postgraduate in Human Resources and has attended an Advanced Management Program at INSEAD – France. He is the recipient of the Chairman’s Award for Excellence at Max Life Insurance.
Mr. Pradeep Pant is a highly experienced business leader, involved in consulting, education and with an experience of about 37 years in the FMCG industry. An expert in building businesses in both mature and emerging markets,he has a deep understanding of market dynamics and cultural diversity. He has managed a wide range of iconic brands across Asia and the Middle East.
Mrs. Sharmila Tagore is one of the most admired actresses of the Indian Film Industry. After starting her film career in 1957, there was no looking back for the talented actress – and accolades like National Film Awards and Filmfare awards are a testimony to her unmatched screen performances.
She is UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador in the causes of HIV/AIDS along with supporting multiple socio-cultural and community projects and was awarded Padma Bhushan in 2013.
Dr. Shubnum Singh
Dr. Shubnum Singh is a founder member of Max Healthcare Institute Ltd where she’s been actively involved in strategizing and developing different verticals of the business including insurance and senior living.In her current capacity as CEO of Max Institute of Health Education and Research (MIHER),
She is actively engaged in developing the educational vertical for the group including a Medical College, Nursing & Allied Health College and Skills Academy. An alumnus of Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi, she has about 33 years of experience in clinical pathology, allergy & hospital administration. She has been honored by the British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (BAPIO) in 2014 and by the State of Delhi for her contribution as a woman entrepreneur in the field of Healthcare.
